Sponsor a child

Since early 2011, Rocast Nord supports 3 children, through "Sponsor a child" program of Dinu Patriciu Foundation.

These children are all from Suceava County, from the following villages affected by floods: Ulma, Vicovu de Sus and Straja. Every month, each child receives a packet with necessary stuff in order to continue its studying (school supplies, books, clothes, shoes) depending on their current needs, monthly discussed with the social responsible which is taking care of these children through this program.

Dinu Patriciu Foundation is a non government organization. Its mission is to support and promote education, in all of its forms, thus pursuing the formation of individuals who will possess a pronounced spirit of initiative, an outstanding civic consciousness and a genuine sense of social responsibility.

The "Sponsor a Child" program aims to provide children and young people coming from poor families with the necessary material resources so that they can continue their studies.

Started in 2007, the "Sponsor a child" program aims to support children and teenagers with good academic results, but highly exposed to school early drop out risk, due to their families’ scarce financial situation. The program aims to gather as many individual sponsors as possible that are willing to finance a child, for a minimum period of one year.
